Obsessive-compulsive disorder: a disorder in which the patient has intrusive thoughts that generate anxiety and lead them to perform actions or compulsions to calm down.
Other disorders: post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, depressive disorder, eating disorder, borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia.
